It’s no secret that Google is set to unveil its brand new Pixel 10 smartphone line up tomorrow, Wednesday August 20, but the tech giant has rather strangely taken it upon itself to post a video to its social channels that clearly shows most of the products before their official announcement.
From leaks and other official teasers, we knew that there is very likely to be a Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, but now Google has left practically nothing to the imagination.

Aside from the official look at the new Pixel products, the video reveals that celebrities Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Curry, Lando Norris, the Jonas Brothers, “And more” will make appearances.
As you can see in the video and in the still image at the top of this page, there is a Pixel 10, one of the Pixel 10 Pro models and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, as well as what we can assume is a Pixel Watch 4 and what appears to be new Pixel Buds, or at the very least, new colours for the existing Pixel Buds Pro 2.
The Pixel 10 phones appear very similar in design to the Pixel 9 series, which would mark the first time Google has not noticeably changed the design of its Pixel year on year.
One change we know that’s coming is the base Pixel 10 has been shown to have triple cameras, a first for a regular, non-Pro Pixel. That’ll make it interesting to see how Google will convince customers to pay more for the Pro when the telephoto camera used to be one of the reasons.

Leaks suggest the Pro will have three superior lenses, with the Pixel 10’s cameras more aligned with the mid-range Pixel 9a’s. If that sounds confusing, it’s because it is.
If the hardware of the phones seems similar to last year, perhaps the software will prove the differentiator. Google has made a habit of introducing new AI tools on recent Pixel phones, so this could be what it does with the Pixel 10.
Features such as Magic Eraser, which lets you erase people from photos, that debuted on the Pixel have come to other Android phones, albeit with different branding, for example. But Google also keeps some AI smarts to itself, such as its genuinely great Call Screen feature and Hold For Me that can sit on the line so you don’t have to wait on hold when you call up a business.
Google is set to reveal all at 6pm UK time on Wednesday. You can tune in to the event for free via the Made By Google YouTube channel.
